The Water Research School was formed to provide research education in water at a high international quality.

It is a community for PhD students, their supervisors, and collaborators in the water industry in Sweden.

It includes courses, networking activities, and a mentor program. 

The School is financed by Swedish Water. It was founded in 2017. It brings together people from 7 Universities in Sweden, the Swedish Water research clusters VA-teknik Södra, DRICKS, VA-kluster Mälardalen, and Dag&Nät, and Sweden Water Research.
